All About P.A.C.T.
P.A.C.T. (Program for Academic and Creative Talent) provides many different challenging classes for gifted students. Some of the classes at Erskine this year are Math Olympiads, Shakespeare, Greek Mythology, Math Challenge,
Measurement, Catch the Wind, Images of Greatness, and Poetry. This program includes students in 2nd through 5th grades in the Cedar Rapids School District. In 2nd and 3rd grade, it is called "Prime Time" and in 4th and 5th grades, it is "PACT".

How do students get in P.A.C.T./Prime Time?
Students are screened each semester for P.A.C.T. and Prime Time classes. In addition to screening scores, ITBS scores, CogAt scores, and classroom performance are considered. Teachers and parents can recommend students for screening.
